SPECIAL DELIVERY. Yours Truly, The Universe.

Does the universe always deliver? Of course! Does it always deliver what you expect? Hell no! The amount of turmoil we can create in our lives by over thinking, creating expectations and ignoring our intuition is infinite. While I believe in the power of the universe 100%, I also believe in the power of hard work and positivity, kindness. In honor of that, if happiness is a life goal we must begin by thinking positively about happiness, choose to wake up with a smile, if it is challenging, keep practicing. As humans we can all agree that we are happiest when we are healthy, aka eating well, getting enough sleep, exercising and getting fresh air. Choose health. Finally, money. Most of us require a certain amount of monetary compensation for our efforts, which we then use to fuel these happy, healthy lifestyles. Don’t let money, or perhaps the fear of no money, stop you from pursuing the dream.

We are quick sometimes to let a fraudulent charge on our credit card or some questionable driving mess with our own happiness. How does this happen? After all these years, living as functioning adults, are we still not able to control our reactions in these moments of WTF? While I’m not saying it’s easy, I’m just implying it’s SIMPLE. We learned this in pre-school… Treat others the way you would like to be treated. Count to ten and take a few breaths before reacting. Speak your truth. Let it go. If things went exactly the way we expected life would offer zero challenge, zero knowledge, zero opportunity for change.

Next time something challenging presents itself, try to be happy about it. Do this practice for a few days, a week. Think positively. Instead of thinking about the things you feel you CAN’T do, think about what you CAN do. Be patient. Also, try to surround yourself with like-minded people. There are a whole bunch of us out here already practicing positivity, it is not an original idea. It's a little easier when you have support. Be patient. The universe delivers, always.
