at Yoga Kite Camp

Chrissy Lefavour is stoked to lead this teacher training for yogis interested in teaching Paddle Board Yoga in Puerto Plata. This is not just for teachers, but any yoga or paddle board enthusiast!! You can expect to learn paddle boarding basics, sequencing, asana options/modifications, anatomy, weight distribution, meditation, safety and much more over the weekend!

You will leave the training with a Level 1 SUPYO teaching certificate from Grateful Yoga along with knowledge and resources to teach your own paddle board yoga classes.

Here is an agenda for the weekend:

Friday 7/27 (All hours will be on the land)

5-6 pm Welcome Dinner!

6-9 pm: Intros, Anatomy, Safety/Rescue, Foundational Asana, Intro to Meditation

Saturday 7/28

6-7 am: 60 minute WARM UP ASANA for SUP

7-9 am: Getting in the water: Navigating the Board, Sample Class

9-9:30 am Roof Top Breakfast

FREE TIME

1-2 pm Walking Meditation + Philosophy

2-5 pm Sequencing, Balance, Communication, Class Planning

6 pm Dinner on The Roof

Sunday 7/29

6-8 am Questions, Challenges, Goals, One more sample class (in the water)

8-9:30 am Restorative Yoga for SUP (on the land)

9-9:30 am Breakfast + carpooling to Waterbury Reservoir State Park

10 am-noon Practice Teaching + Graduation

noon-1 Graduation Fiesta: Snacks, Photos and Fun!
