A 4-week 200 hour TT intensive in one of the most beautiful parts of the Caribbean. Training Mon-Fri allows you weekends free to enjoy all of the beauties the island has to offer! Imagine waking to the sound of the ocean for practice at sunrise, a few hours to swim, surf, snorkel, beach walk, lay in a hammock, nap on the beach, etc, and then an afternoon training session followed by a rejuvenating evening practice... Paradise is waiting!
This retreat is for all levels and yogis from all background. This Caribbean getaway is perfect for individuals, or ask about deals for couples/families!
Earn up to 30 hours per week in the Dominican Republic towards the Grateful Yoga 200 or 300 hour registered teacher training program!

Chrissy Lefavour is stoked to lead this weekend long teacher training for yogis interested in teaching Paddle Board Yoga. This is not just for teachers, but any yoga or paddle board enthusiast!! You can expect to learn paddle boarding basics, sequencing, asana options/modifications, anatomy, weight distribution, meditation, safety and much more over the weekend!
You will leave the training with a SUPYO teaching certificate from Grateful Yoga along with knowledge and resources to teach your own paddle board yoga classes.
Here is an agenda for the weekend:
Friday 8/18 (All hours will be in the studio)
6-9 pm: Intros, Anatomy, Safety/Rescue, Foundational Asana, Intro to Meditation
8-9:30 am Morning Practice (in the studio, all other hours today at the reservoir)
9:30-10 am Breakfast and carpooling to Waterbury Reservoir State Park
10-noon Getting on the Water, Navigating the Board, Sample Class
noon-1 pm LUNCH
1-2 pm Walking Meditation + Philosophy
2-5 pm Sequencing, Balance, Communication, Class Planning
8-9:30 am Restorative Yoga for SUP (in the studio, all other hours today at the reservoir)
9:30-10 am Breakfast + carpooling to Waterbury Reservoir State Park
10-noon Questions, Challenges, Goals, One more sample class
noon-1 pm LUNCH
1-3 pm Practice Teaching + Graduation
COST: Early bird before July 1st: $200, or $150 if you are enrolled in the studio teacher training
AFTER JULY 1st: $250, or $200 if are enrolled in the studio teacher training
